The working principle of the single balance valve is to allow the fluid to flow in a single direction and prevents the flow back. The valve has a ball that rests on a seat inside the valve. When the pressure in the pipeline is higher than in the outlet, the ball is pressed against the seat, and the valve closes. When the pressure in the outlet rises above the pressure in the inlet, the ball is lifted off the seat, and the flow occurs.
However, when hydraulic fluid flows in the opposite direction, the ball of the valve also moves back and closes the valve, thus preventing reverse flow. This operation is automatic and depends on the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet.
