What is double pilot-operated check valve?

The double-acting pilot-operated hydraulic check valve blocks the hydraulic flow in both directions, holding the cylinder in both positions. When pilot pressure is applied, the valve unlocks in both directions, allowing bi-directional flow and enabling more complex cylinder movement.

Function
 
The bidirectional pilot operated check valve consists of two hydraulic control one-way valves and a pilot valve core and has good locking performance.
 
The oil is allowed to flow freely from V1 to C1 or V2 to C2, while the valves remain closed (blocked) in the opposite directions (C1 to V1 or C2 to V2) to hold or lock the hydraulic cylinder or other actuators; reverse flow occurs only when there is sufficient pilot pressure at V1 or V2, at which point V1 or V2 acts as the pilot port for the other side and pushes the piston pushing the valve core off the valve seat.
